Nadav Ariel

Nadav Ariel was born in 1985 in Kfar Adumin, a small community east of Jerusalem. He completed his studies in photography at the Musrara Art School in 2013. He received an excellence award for his final project in social photography. His work has been exhibited in several art festivals in Israel and abroad, including the Beijing art fair, The Artist House in Dusseldorf And the Palm Beach Photographic Center's FOTOfusion Photography festival where he was presented with the 2014 Rising Star Award. Nadav's work focuses on two central themes: the relationship between objectivity and subjectivity, between photographer and object: Who controls the photograph? Can one exist independently from the other? and the connection between Israeli people and Israel's landscape.
